Review on Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC Bluetooth Wireless Headphones Featuring Active Noise Cancellation in Black and Silver by Som Chai ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, a pleasure to use.

I've been looking for headphones for a long time. thought to take the previous model 4.50. chose from these, 350 and last year's model. for me it was critical that the wire is 3.5, so that you can listen if the headphones sit down. I wanted a type-c charging connector and a new bt 5.0. if these requirements are not critical, then you can safely take the headphones of the previous generation (they have good discounts now, until stocks have been sold), or look towards a simpler model 350. I wanted to listen live before buying, but due to the virus, all stores are closed, so I took it, one might say, blindly and did not regret it. I have known Sennheiser for a long time, so I expected to get a very decent sound quality and, in principle, I was not mistaken. from the factory are set in the direction of the predominance of low and high frequencies. but without kinks. I did not have a desire to climb into the equalizer and change the settings, although the possibility is present. The headphones are aimed at a youth audience, so I have no complaints about the factory settings. On a wire, headphones play quieter than wirelessly and in my opinion a little more pleasant. and "more pleasant" is exactly the word that I can use to describe my impressions. Bluetooth plays very decently with aptX support. but there was a feeling that in terms of sound quality they have a margin of safety and the limitation is modern standards for sound transmission over the air. The controls are quite simple and well thought out. all buttons under the right hand. in some reviews, there were complaints that the shackle was not made of metal, but of plastic, and so I consider these claims to be sucked from the finger. build quality is very high. and if the engineers were able to reduce the weight of the headphones, through the use of modern materials, without sacrificing durability, this is in my opinion a plus, not a minus. In general, I am very satisfied with the purchase, although I understand that I overpaid a little at the start of sales. if the price in half a year - a year will decrease by 20-30%, then this will be an excellent choice.

Pros
  • sound quality, light weight, soft ear cushions, autonomy, support for bt 5.0, usb type-c, the presence of a wire and a 3.5 mm jack connection.
Cons
  • somewhat overpriced at the start of sales. high-frequency squeak with noise reduction turned on.
