Nice set. Although I already knit I wanted to try this brand of thread and needle and this was a great way to do it. The yarn is easy to work with, appears well twisted and does not break. A few cotton threads I've tried snap easily. The colors are gorgeous and the strands are big. These are my first quality wooden pins and I LOVE them! Smooth, sharp and so aesthetic. For true beginners, be patient with cotton yarn and small needles. Do a few small exercises to master the tension, because cotton yarn can stretch. But it's worth the extra time. IT'S COTTON! I received the correct brochure (some reviewers did not). Decent instructions for those who need them. Definitely recommend this set
