Ruined my tattoo! I had a bad reaction to all the 'natural and organic' ingredients in my healing tattoo. This causes it to bubble, ignite and swell. I didn't really think twice about making it a balm until I told my artist I had tried a natural balm. Unfortunately, many of the ingredients may not be suitable for exposed skin, which is almost tantamount to getting a new tattoo. This is what people should know before buying. I had to touch up the tattoo twice because everything fell out due to blistering and poor peeling. I ended up with cracked skin that bled. It's so painful. I had a swollen lymph node on my elbow for two weeks. Please make sure you want to use these ingredients, which are not typically found in unscented lotions, in your new art. Won't recommend this to anyone. I also have quite a few tattoos, 13 now, and none of them have reacted that way.
