No more 32 GB card, otherwise very funny

The description of the IPS version says a 16 GB and a 32 GB card, but only a 16 GB card. The seller said the ad was outdated. I hope they clear that up. A 16GB card is very slow, and 32GB will probably be the same, so probably not missing much anyway. The device works well, the screen is bright and clear. The 16GB card was actually full when it arrived and I couldn't save the SNES game I was playing. I upgraded to a larger SD card that I already had, but you can also remove some of the many games, a video sample or an audio sample and you can use the boxed card. Some games don't really work for me (like Cannonball) so there's some baggage I need to get rid of. The included SD card had a consistent read speed of just 11MB/s when I made a copy of it. I switched to a Samsung card with a read speed of 95MB/s and the device loaded games faster after the switch. The main SD card is located under the battery, an additional card can be inserted on the side of the device. The volume wheel is very sensitive. The bike has a lot of travel but the adjustment only works for a very short time so you have to be careful to get it right but it works. There's also an in-software volume control, which might be preferable. The variety of games is very good. If your favorite isn't there, you can find it somewhere on the internet and copy it to your device. I built the PiGrrl 2 and it is better in the following points: better button quality, larger screen, higher resolution screen, volume controls, headphone jack, 2 SD card slots, removable battery, much thinner and smaller.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not sure
