This organizer was exactly what I was looking for. In addition to hot styling tools, it can hold a variety of items. I like that there is room for an extension cord with holes on either side of this compartment to accommodate plug cords. While I like the design, I would have preferred the expansion compartment to be behind a ported riser. 3 cylinders for hot tools, not before. The whole setup would look neater if all the cables were on the back. This will also keep the cords from tipping over items in the bottom shelf when using one of your hot tools. The bottom of the two front compartments is lined with black velor/velvet. time so I put a piece of this rubbery shelf liner at the bottom of each shelf (you know, the non-stick kind they sell on a roll) it was easy to cut and I can wipe it down along the way if needed. It also comes with a rubber pouch/mat that you can place the hot tool on or even store in during use. I like this organizer very much. While I personally think a design change would have made it a lot better, I think it deserves 5 stars the way it is now. I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way. Thank you for reading.
