I'm getting old. I like it when the numbers are big and easy to read. This phone simply has big numbers to look at. The screen that displays caller ID and other information also appears larger. When a call comes in, the orange backlight helps. Just scroll up and down to view missed calls. The included autoresponder is easy to use. Now that I no longer need a headset to surf the web, this desk phone is great for all my personal calls. I keep it under my computer monitor to have it within reach while I work. It's also a great backup in case the cellular connection drops. I have a lot of problems with neighbors. So many positives, plus AT&T products are generally reliable and this one is DEFINITELY affordable. I will NEVER rent a phone. Even if it only lasts a few years, it is worth replacing.
