OVERVIEW TONOR REASONS TO BUY shooting products. This can also be used as a microphone stand depending on the setup or for smaller off-frame productions depending on the camera setup. I started using audio equipment in college for my RADIO TV FLIM portion of my undergraduate degree and have used various types of equipment in a professional setting 20 years ago. It's literally a plug-and-play system for any Apple product with USB (you'll need a USBC adapter if you don't have one) where your MacBook should recognize the mic right away, if not it's a simple change the audio settings. If you're a gamer then this is also a great inexpensive setup if you have basic audio skills. ADAPTER I bought a ½ to ⅝ adapter for my Zoom H-6 (connected to the cold shoe of an Aperture to ¼ adapter) with a ZOOM SSH stereo. The Gun Mic I currently use or the RODE VIDEOMIC NTG. Once you get used to the podcast setup and audio quality, it's great for videos. SOUND IS EVERYTHING on YouTube. When shooting product videos I use it as my pseudo podcast for audio and it looks in the video for my WIDE shot with a 10-18mm lens and a 24-105mm EOS R camera shot straight from Manfrotto is great. Tripod. The VELCRO STRAPS4 straps are great for connecting cables as I run one from the headphones and the other from the ZOOM H-6 to the EOS R camera so the post-processing audio isn't up to par. I used a lot of Velcro. and it's a great edition with the way they connect for quick cable adjustments as I use 2 of these. POP FILTER The ZOOM H-6's pop filter is AMAZING because my boom mic is about 1-4 inches from my mouth and blocks 99% of all my "Ps" from monitoring my audio. Why spend a lot of money on a pop screen when you can use one from the kit. Nice added value. ARROW ARM The arrow itself is very easy to set up as a pivot on a table or desk. The setup for the boom and mic is just to make sure you take your time with your goals, either podcasts, games or product videos to get the best setup as I've used a few for different applications. Depending on your mic (if you're using a Tonor, Rode, or Zoom mic) you'll need to play around with the settings for each pivot to really fine-tune your voltage level. Be patient with this process as you will need to consider how to set up your microphone in different format types. Plastic or something you can use as a top so you don't mark your desk with a boom due to the weight of your alternative microphone setup. will make your visuals even more trendy for your application. If you decide to use it for live performance, the Tonor microphone looks great visually and is very professional. A quality microphone for anyone starting with entry-level audio skills for Garage Band or Logic Pro from an Apple perspective and investing in hardware but don't want to break the bank by shelling out $100 for everything you need for a basic setup require. VALUEBang for my buck, I couldn't be happier with how much BENEFITS I'm getting from a dart as I'll never go back to the mic on the table against the boom arm. Any questions please let me know. Happy shooting!
