Perfect for my 2012 Chevy Volt! The lettering on the bottom left button of the new fob wasn't the same as the original, but that doesn't matter when you know the Trunk Open button will actually be the Electronics Cover Open button for your volt. I watched several YouTube videos to help. I could never have done that without watching her. It was very difficult for me to open the old key fob to get the metal key and circuit board (because the old key fob was glued together). I had to trim the edges of the old key fob's seams with a razor blade, then insert closed needle nose pliers into the side hole (then spread the pliers) to disassemble this old key fob. From that moment it was easy. I'm so glad I tried this! You'll get hundreds of dollars, like me, for not having to buy a new Chevy key for your Volt. My new key fob works great, I have no electronics experience and am not good at DIY. On the 1st photo is my new keychain. The second is the original 2012 Chevy Volt key fob.
