What I was looking for

I've been using the Alienware Ultrasone 380 kit (if I remember correctly) for a number of years and it has worked well. I use it to create live sound, so consistency and a flat frequency response is important to me. To my ears, they have the same frequency response, but slightly different dynamics - mid-range dynamics are slightly more noticeable. This may change when they break in. It is obvious that they are made using the same molds and technologies as the old ones. All in all a great replacement and backup for my old kit.
