Good but not so good for small appliances

containers have a slightly concave bottom. I use this for smoothies, but it doesn't work best for frozen fruit. I always add fruit with milk first, but with this blender the fruit gets stuck in the concave area. I have to take it off the base and make sure the fruit is in the bed in small pieces. Then back to the mixing base, then the remaining ingredients are added. It takes 3-4 capsules to mix all the ingredients. The engine section is well built and attractive enough to stay on the tabletop.
