I installed this on my '02 Miata in a warm garage and used a blow dryer to get some extra heat (felt the blow dryer was too powerful). Remember to clean well with alcohol as instructed. I've pressure washed the car several times without paying attention to this part and it seems to be holding up well. I drove it at 130 mph and it didn't budge. Can you get more for less money at the hardware store? Yes. But it requires a bit more effort (adding tape or screws). This is a good option for people who don't want to get too carried away with their hands.
