I wanted a wireless UHF microphone system because everyone else using 2.4GHz has to point the transmitter at the receiver otherwise they tend to miss the Losing connection intermittently, especially at any distance over 20 feet. This bid run system had over 160 feet of interference free use with line of sight from transmitter to receiver. At about 60 to 70 feet, with two trees blocking the transmitter and receiver, I had two instances of fast static noise. Well worth the money and less than half the price of other major branded devices, you just can't beat a dollar for the price! I strongly recommend buying this. The build quality is plastic but seems solid enough for everyday use. These devices also have a volume meter on the transmitter and receiver, which others do not have.
