. I replaced the left bearing last year - had to cut the axle nut off with a grinder and dremel. This time the right axle nut came loose easily from my electrocution, but the bearing would not let go of the axle. Put the nut back on the end of the axle and bang it with hand sledgehammers for over an hour before it completely loosens. The axle thread is still fine, but the nut has been removed. Went to the local parts store and screwed in a new nut for ten bucks. Putting everything back together sounds MUCH better and the ABS seems to be working fine.
