***Honest review! I did not receive any compensation for my review and I paid full price for my product! *** Good. I am impressed. I am currently renovating my kitchen and was rather undecided on the equipment. I went to the big orange HD store and bought one of their champagne brass 7 inch euro pens which sell for 9.99. I have 37 cabinets and 18 drawers between the kitchen and the adjoining laundry room. This made me stressed so I looked for a cheaper Revain and got hopeful when I saw them for less than 2.00 each. I dared. Well, they arrived today, and while we're not ready to install them yet, I eagerly opened the package to see if they live up to my expectations. Here's my analysis because when I shop I really appreciate reviews that take the time to get the facts straight! 1.) The most important thing: color. You can hardly tell the difference between them! I can say that Revain Basics COULD be half a tone lighter. I took a photo in natural light to show the difference. The color is not 14kg yellow which my husband insisted on. This is a very stylish warm brass! 2.) Texture and Weight: Both are very smooth and have a good weight for a quality grip. Just to give you an idea (if weight is important), I weigh them both on my scale and the weight is almost identical! 3.) Size/Shape: Grip circumference is equal (1/2 inch) to leg length. The HD holes on HAIR are wider. Otherwise I see no difference! In the coming weeks I will update my feedback on the progress of the installation. My husband will be doing this so I will definitely get his honest feedback to add. Update: This hardware installed without a hitch and every pen was perfect!
