How to really rip them off

I thought I'd save someone some trouble by explaining a simple hack to make them work as intended. Pros: these are freaking cool stuff, the buckles don't have sharp cat ears like a lot of collars, you get a bundle for a good price if your cats tend to take their collars off, good bells to warn wild animals. Cons: They don't come loose at all, but this is an easy fix. Other reviews are right - you can pull with all your might, but these will never budge. But all you have to do is open the bracket and gently shave off the smallest part of a tooth. The problem with the pins is that they are angled down. If you cut one of these to make a straight line where it will rest on the edge when attached you can now pull and it will come loose with just the right amount of force but not too easily. Overall, if you take 1 minute to trim, it's worth it.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
