This K&N intake was installed over 5 years and 75,000 miles ago and works just as well today as it did then. The sporty intake sound alone is worth something! It was pretty easy to install. If you have Legos or model cars/planes/etc. can build, you can do it. It can also save you money in the long run as the standard filter is recommended to be replaced every 10-15k miles for around $25 each (OEM BMW) and this filter never needs to be changed just cleaned and lubricated every 25k. miles on average. At 100,000+ miles, the cost is about the same as the entire reusable kit. It also comes with an official CARB California smog inspection sticker. Solid purchase.
