This product works well as a USB hub, but is ineffective when used with an external monitor connected via DVI. It is also ineffective as an Ethernet connection. The monitor sometimes goes black and there is often right-to-left movement across the screen. When the computer goes into sleep mode, Ethernet is disabled; You must restart to restore your internet connection. At $250, that's an outrageous waste of money. If tech support doesn't offer a firmware fix in the next few days, mine will come back. Very disappointing with all the hype we've heard over the months about the repeated pushbacks of this product's release dates.
