This fluffed up perfect in the dryer. Once on 'low heat' then once more on 'cool' cycle - fluffed up perfect to be tied into the duvet cover. It HAS the corner ties. Why the weird low reviews is a mystery. This is perfect for light-weight duvet 'insert'. Why people would use this by itself is bizarre. Anyway - For normal folks that want to fill a duvet cover - This is it. (Portland Oregon - so, mild climate) Light, warm, not over-bearing.
