This is a fantastic little alarm clock if you see well. First of all, I'm a young woman, short-sighted with astigmatism, not scary. I often walk down the street without glasses and it's not scary. Anyway, I've been using this alarm clock for a few days now and I just can't read the screen well at night. It's frustrating. Additionally, the first two brightness settings are literally like a night light in a room. I mean it casts shadows on the wall! The lowest brightness is normal, but even then it's difficult to read at night and during the day. On the other hand, the radio sounds great. The iPod dock is awesome. I have a case on my iPod, but if you don't use small docking devices, you can dock your iPod with the case on. Of course, this is done at your own risk as you can damage the pins if you are not careful. I think it's good that there's digital radio here. And I think white is cute. But overall I'm just really disappointed. I had high hopes for him and now I have to give him back. Because what function is more important in an alarm clock than reading the time!
