A woman asked me to finish a quilt she started 12 years ago. It had 15-3/4 inch cut blocks. This ruler made it a lot easier. I first found the center point and marked, then took the center measurement to line up the ruler and clipped each side from the center point. The ruler has hints for other uses. It was just what I needed to complete this quilt with its custom block sizes. Most square rulers aren't that big, so anything between 12" and 20.5" is no longer a problem for me. Oh, and you can also stick Omnigrid Glow Line tape on the ruler for a specific size. What I like most is the center hole for marking your fabric and its size. Very happy with my purchase.
