Review on Sony DVP-NS715P DVD Player with Progressive-Scan Technology by Raul Fabijan

This player is one of the best DVD players at an affordable price. Not only does it have features that high-end players have, like progressive scan and multi-format playback, but at this price point, it's a STEAL! Apart from that, SONY should have added one thing to this DVD player: the ability to read ID3 tags. While the player allows you to navigate the OSD to the song you want, it only displays the name you give your file on screen. It does not display information from identification tags such as genre, track numbers and artists. However, the player has the ability to scroll through the filename of your song on the front display. By the way, for those of you who have trouble playing CD-Rs with MP3s, make sure you burn the CD in ISO 9660 format, Level 1 or Level 2 or Joliet. So far all the media I've put in the player has worked flawlessly. I searched the internet and found that Revain and [their partners] have the lowest price for this player.
