Great all-around shorts! Not only do you get the laugh factor of their being actual, real-life "tactical shorts" (like in Reno-911) but they're damned good shorts! The cargo pockets don't sag out, there's a nifty cell phone pocket (for a flip phone or small smartphone) holder for a flashlight or something, lots of belt loops, lots of reinforcement points everywhere, Teflon(tm) fabric protection and they're made of that nifty rip-stop fabric. I wear these riding my bike, and just about everywhere. The only "bug" I've experienced is, eventually, after tons of wear, the snap on the front will get "tired" and randomly pop open. But that's only a factor if you're the kind of guy who wears shorts without a belt, and the 5.11 belts are very good too.
