Description says 'genuine leather'. It looks like "genuine leather" is one of the components of this belt, but don't confuse it with full grain leather. The belt has, so to speak, a leather application on both sides of the fabric base. And after some use, the leather coating will peel off. Not a quality product. Mine is in the trash right now.
