Review on Genuine GM 15055342 Auxiliary Connector by Michael Welborn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2002 Tahoe flex Fuel Rear Air

Perfect fit, identical to the original. Snaps into place with little effort. Fixed coolant leak... If your part doesn't come off easily, you need a proper disassembly tool, or maybe if you're good at working in tight spaces with a pickaxe...? The trick is in the white tabs, they sit under the tab on an aluminum tube; The white tab can only be removed by lifting it over the tab on the aluminum tube. You can simply cut off the black "latch" on the plastic quick release part to keep the white tabs from snagging (there are 2 of them, one on each side); then remove the old part; Then remove the old white part of the tongue. But be careful, the aluminum tube is easily damaged. You're unlikely to just pinch them to remove the part. I cut out the "latch" on mine with a razor blade tool, then easily removed the old part by twisting and pulling slightly, and then cut the white part of the tongue to remove it, which is pretty worked well. Good luck... This is for information only. I'm not a mechanic. Work at your own risk.
