Good workmanship. The screw drive surface is smooth, free from burrs or rough edges often found on poorly machined workpieces. The rotation of the screw drive is a bit stiff at first, but it gets better with time. A drop or two of WD-40 on the surface of the screws and where the handles of the screws touch the case improved this movement. I saw another review that complained about needing a release mechanism that would allow for large adjustments without turning the knobs. It has a clutch, it's just that its location and operation are poorly described in the manual. The Arca-Swiss clamp fits securely on every record I have. The clamp moves 1mm for each 360 degree rotation of the handle. No complaints, good buy.
