I was given these tissue paper squares on a whim to make stained glass candle holders. They are perfect for this purpose and easy to use, although sorting them by color took some time in the beginning. But I love how many colors there are - some of them are very similar in hue. As the fabric is very thin they stick together easily and bend before use and tear very easily if you try to fix them with mortar. So apply firmly, but gently and carefully. I applied red interference acrylic paint to the glass and pressed each square of paper onto it. It stuck easily but tore a few times when I tried to smooth it out. Then, when everything was dry, I smeared it with Mod Podge glitter (mixed with iridescent flakes) to seal it. The candle holder looks very beautiful with a flameless candle inside. I was just experimenting on the fly, but I wanted to share what method I used. It was efficient. For more transparency I would recommend using a transparent mod podge to make everything clear so the colors really show through. The individual papers are very thin, so the color is not as saturated. The papers can be folded in half (I definitely have an overlapping stack), but that can dim the light from inside a bit. Still, you can mess things up and it can still end up looking pretty good. For the price, this product has a good range and decent quality. I would buy it again.
