So why are these shoes perfect for a guitar player? Most of us guitarists pump up our instruments in some way as soon as we bring them home and decide they're a good investment: better strings, a more resonant nut, better bridge pins, hotter pickups, etc. We're good with our tools and wait regularly. I have THREE pairs of these shoes. Both the top and bottom are excellent. So how do they give birth hot? The first thing I do when I get a new pair is take out the factory insole and replace it with TWO insoles: one with a more durable arch and one that's all foam. I clean these shoes after every walk (I walk on grass). They still look relatively new. I always take the insoles out, stuff them to the heels and the top with small rags to dry out any moisture, and lay them in the sun to dry completely. I've ridden hundreds of miles in these shoes. When cracks appeared on the floors, I repaired them with shoe-goo. 24-hour coat, they're ready for action. I want Bronax to sell me some pieces of fabric to glue to the top of the sole underneath the insole. This is the only part that has been gradually dismantled. If they had sent them to me I would have given this review 5 stars. As long as I play the guitar, I will wear these shoes.
