If you live in the US and remember this was a real size 7 medical shoe, then it isn't. It's more like the widespread usage of 7-1/2 or 8. Right out of the box the look of the shoe appears to have been worn by a person turning their feet to the side. The strap is quite long but is uncomfortable where it goes across the arch of the foot right into the flex in the foot. The price wasn't great so I won't bother with returning it, but I won't buy again either. I put a liner in the shoes to keep them from riding up and down. The only thing I liked about them is that there is no memory foam inside which could make me unstable. It seems hard to find these days. They are made in China and if I had paid attention I would not have bought them. I was hoping for something to wear barefoot in the summer, but I still need thick socks to keep them on my feet. One of the reasons I will not return for an exchange is that I have done so with these foreign shoes in the past and the sizes do not match. The ones I bought up to a size 7 were too big and the 6-1/2 were too small. It may or may not be the same company that made them. I measured my foot and adjusted the US size chart to US size 7. My daughter tried them on and they fit her comfortably. She wears a size 8 with a triple E width.
