Review on Whirlwind Bagless Canister Cleaner Lightweight by James Wiley

Great little vacuum cleaner

I've been looking for a different vacuum cleaner for about a year. I have a very nice Hoover wind tunnel that serves its purpose well, but I bought it when the whole house was carpeted. Since hardwood floors have arrived and I only have one bedroom with carpet (cuts out noise), it's not as comfortable having to use a bigger, heavier vacuum to vacuum the whole house. So my search finally landed on the Eureka NEN110A Whirlwind Bagless Canister and I'm glad I did. It arrived yesterday having only been ordered on Friday, thanks Revane. Needless to say, I had to take it upon myself. Here's what I can tell you for newcomers.1. Kind. Yes, pretty; I don't like ugly technology. All the bells and whistles are great, but if the device is ugly then I don't want it. You know what I'm talking about, you've seen other vacuum cleaners that look like they jumped out of a 1950 sci-fi movie. Hello, commercial vacuum cleaner, short, round, painted eye, or Shark Apex, or Shark DuoClean Powered Lift Away Speed Vacuum that looks like a tower that can easily fall over, or almost the entire Oreck. Oh yeah I know it can kick your toe or toe but sometimes the truth is ugly and hey this is my review. .2. Performance - Lots of suction power. In fact, I had to adjust the strength of the vacuum with the handy built-in suction power adjustment on my arm. No problem with suction power.3. Ease of use is where it really shines. It weighs around 8 pounds, making it easy and quick to move around the house. It's easy to get under furniture as the head turns, twisting and twisting your floors. The dust container is small like the vacuum cleaner itself, but is easy to detach and shake out, click into place and it's ready to use. I hate when people whine about having to empty the canister so often, seriously, why leave all that mess in the vacuum for days. It even rolls over its own power cord with ease. My Kenmore canister, which weighed over 20lbs, couldn't even tip over on its own cord, it got stuck and I had to lift it.4. The wand's built-in brush and grout tool also worked very well. The wand, handles snap together securely and the vacuum cleaner with a pleasant click. Cancellation is also easy. On-device auto rewind is great too, a nice feature at this price point. The power cord is 16 feet long, but if it were possible to have five feet longer that would be great, but I'm not complaining, I just unplug it and go somewhere else and plug it into a different outlet that does is closer to the work area, after all, our homes have multiple outlets.5. Lifespan is always unknown but the unit is covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty and I purchased 3 more years on the Assurance plan. So I feel covered up. Time will tell and I will update these comments if anything goes wrong and also if the device continues to function normally.
