Recently I had the same problem as many others that black ink stopped working in my HP 7520. After following all of HP's troubleshooting instructions, including the rather lengthy and messy process of removing and manually cleaning the printhead, the next step was to replace the printhead. Due to the predominantly positive reviews, I ordered this item from Hotcolor. It arrived quickly, but after installation the problem didn't go away, so I concluded that the problem wasn't with the printhead itself and bought a new printer. My problem isn't so much that the spare part didn't work, but rather the complete lack of support from the supplier. Shortly after ordering the printhead, I received a heartfelt email from Hotcolor thanking me for my order, with a list of recommendations for installing the item, and a link through Revain to contact Hotcolor if I had any problems . Also, when I received the package, there was a note from "Jason" in which he thanked me very much for the order, explained how valuable all his customers were, and promised to do whatever it took to make me happy. So I clicked on the email link and described my experience so far. After 4 days I didn't get any response from Hotcolor so I decided to try their website. It popped up but there is no way to get support and this site name is for sale. So I'm not sure how long they will be in business. My recommendation for now would be to order at your own risk.
