Well finally my main drive belt that feeds the clutch gave up after reading how to change it the easiest way was to replace the entire assembly. Ordered a new clutch kit, definitely lost in stock, install goes straight but too hard, lots of twisting and pulling and just trying to squeeze in without damaging anything. So after putting it in, it seemed to work fine, and all of a sudden the clutch disengages and just screams that clicking sound. Going through and checking everything again, it still does, remove and reattach everything, it works fine, then out of the blue it starts screaming again. From what I've read on others it seems that the new clutches are more sensitive and have a harder time turning the old brush. I'll try to break the brush and put some graphite in their hubs although it's a pain in the butt and if it wasn't such a good vacuum it would be on the sidelines.
