I've tried a few other brands of boots. I bought a brand from the national pet store and our pup wore them in the middle of winter. We had to use baby socks to hold them up and sometimes they came off and we had to comb through the snow to find them. Since we had already worn them out, we decided to buy better quality boots. We ordered these Ultra Paws Rugged Dog Red Small Boots. They really stay on our little girl's paws (she is a 7 month old pup). She has skinny hind legs and her front legs are slightly taller and wider, but these boots are no problem getting in and out of. Our pup jumped on the hard snow and his boots weren't off yet. Just make sure to measure your dog's paws as directed on the Ultra Paws website. I almost bought a medium sized one as our pup is 7 months old, weighs 38lbs and will be a medium sized dog but the boots we ordered are small. They suit her perfectly.
