I bought a similar lamp from another company more than three years ago and expected it to last many years, but unfortunately for some reason it stopped working. I decided to buy this lamp as a replacement and am very pleased with how beautiful and bright it is. I use it in the kitchen in the guest house, no dimmer. The original light seemed to have a slight delay before turning on, I like this one as it lights up instantly. I bought a metal frame (flush with the ceiling) so replacing the panel was very easy and straightforward. I don't expect to need to change the light in a few years and since it uses very little electricity it should help keep my electric bills as low as possible.
