I get the same effect as my regular old cotton pads but even better because they are VERY soft and have a lot of surface area so more value from a cotton pad. I have washed it several times and its quality and softness have not diminished. .And there are more than enough of these pads that you can't rush to wash the dirty ones more often than a week or two. It comes with a washer and dryer inner bag! Seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made. Highly recommend if you want to reduce waste and save money by buying cotton pads over and over again.
