The first thing I would like to say about this is that the sewing machine is quite small. It's still pretty effective. This sewing machine is good for beginners because the operation is very simple. All the different stitches are done with a simple push of a button, rather than having to do it by hand or adjust the machine to get the right stitch. This item is a relatively good price for a starter kit. The starter kit contains all the supplies you need to start sewing, including a small pouch with scissors, thread and a measuring tape. Threading the thread into the machine is very easy. It's not something that's done for you but it's not overly complicated. There is space for thread at the top, just like any other sewing machine. The nice thing is that there are only simple buttons that allow you to change the stitching. I can make very nice stitches with ease. The button responds quite well. The dimensions on the machine are given in centimeters. It doesn't clog very easily. The trigger mechanism is nice. This is not a fast sewing machine, so it's ideal for beginners. You can adjust the speed accordingly. The only downside is that there isn't much space so you will find it difficult to focus the light on the area you are sewing so it can be a bit hard to see.
