This handbag is really very nice. However, it is safe to say that this is not leather. It smelled a little at first but I sprayed it with deodorant and it was much better after a day. I can't comment on durability as I only charged it yesterday. I removed the longer strap and I like it better. Too many straps get in the way. The short strap is enough for carrying over the shoulder. My organizer was needed to keep everything in order, but I had it handy. The inner lining is brown instead of black, which makes the bottom of the bag more visible. I wish wallet manufacturers understood that a lighter liner would be much better.
