I should contact my mechanic to see what I can do about this. The lights themselves are very bright and look great. Rear brake light replaced. My problem is that my 'check brake light' light does not come on on my dashboard even after clearing the codes via both dashboard reset and obdll port. I'll try pulling the fuse and replacing it, but I suspect it doesn't give an error code, so the voltage is most likely too low and assuming the bulb is blown. For anyone interested, this is the '05 Volvo V70. I was hoping to gradually replace all the lightbulbs with LEDs because to be honest Volvo didn't make it easy to access all of them and I hoped never to change them again. If I find a solution I'll update, but I think some cars have older computer systems than others, or some cars don't mind lower voltage.
