In terms of comfort, it's not so good right out of the bag. This mask required additional foam padding at the tip of the nose and in the chin area. Adequate amount was dispensed for the bridge of the nose and the cheekbone area or just below the cheekbone. I had to cut and glue additional pieces of foam. in the other areas mentioned. I also had to figure out what to do with the straps. The included straps were a bit tight even when fully loosened. I'm still working on a fix but I think I'm there. I bought velcro for wrapping cords or something at my local hardware store. I'm in the process of making belts that will be more comfortable. The plastic used will probably be enough for your shootouts. If you want something that fits perfectly straight out of the box/bag, this may not be it. For me it's part of the costume so it needs a bit of work.
