I think both compartments would be better with a zip because things tend to just fall out the other side if you don't watch after; and it would be nice to have an inner pocket for dollar bills that would be separate from the rest of the compartment. The zipper design is a little flimsy - not sure how it's sewn in or what, but it feels like it gets caught at times. Also when it is completely filled with cards and other things in the side compartments. The snap-on design is nice too, but when fully loaded with cards and other stuff in the side pockets it becomes unwieldy where the snap-on is a bit cumbersome and doesn't "feel" secure like it going to burst open and release unexpectedly. I love the color and the many card slots.
