Professional photographer + photo booth owner (900+ booths done) The main reason I can't give it 5 full stars is that you just don't get many prints from one cartridge. We've probably done 1000 stands now (990 at the time of writing) and we liked the Canon Selphy 800-1100 series, but the 1200 series stopped producing Mac drivers and we had to switch. really improved our appearance and the Epson replacement really helped with that. The selfie had 108 prints for about $40, but you'd never use up an entire paper, especially if the ink roller failed. We also tested over 20 selfie printers. I shouldn't have waited so long to switch. Epson prints well on any glossy paper but with the Canon 4x6 ($20 for 400) it's a great deal, Epson's premium glossy looks great. quickly. The cost of a print is obviously higher, but the quality is higher than a selfie and the same as our Canon Pixma Pro 100, except the Pro 100 is much slower and less portable. Our DNP 620A takes FAST photos in 13 seconds and 0.15-. 20 cents per print, but also not portable and expensive. But quality crosses portability Easy to buy ink/paper size options Makes this the ideal printer for kiosks. If you really want to save on printing, use the DNP620a - it offers much better quality than our old HITI510L and the cost per print is lower too. Our HITI510L was a real headache. I have researched the Canon Selphy Line (6 years) Canon Pixma Pro 100 (1 year with Epson) Epson Picture Mate (1 year since 2019) HITI 510L (2015-2018) and if I could start fresh I would go with the DNP 620A Starting and ADDING or replacing a second DNP 620A in 2019 (I will update if DNP isn't working for me) We shoot daily souvenir photos and print 30-80 4x6s per day in a 30 minute window. And EPSON for cabs. I would take DNP. For stands, but they're expensive and we can build 3 stands at a time, so moving the $800 printer (and possible damage during installation and shipping) didn't make sense to me. I made a comparison with Epson 400 and Pixma. Pro 100 on all papersGlossyUltra GlossPro Gloss quality is almost imperceptible on higher quality paper. I just hate having to change Epson when only 1 of 4 colors runs out and the Pro uses 100 separate cartridges. But speed and quality are important factors. our HITI went out and was eventually updated to DNP. DNP is better than HITI. Good luck photographers.
