My dog is extremely picky about his food so a topper is a must. We usually use a freeze dried product (like this) or cottage cheese. That being said, we have never come across a freeze dried product that my pup didn't like and gotten him to eat his food. This is no exception. My dog liked the freeze dried food (of course he preferred it without the chunks) and didn't seem to have a preference between the flavors. Since my dog is 60 pounds, I can't go without pieces as I can't order multiple pouches for just one meal. From this brand we tried a beef recipe, a salmon recipe, a chicken recipe, a turkey and sweet potato recipe, and a salmon/chicken/carrot recipe - we liked them all equally. can be easily crushed into a powder topper.
