The kit worked really well to hide the small speaker wires for the surround speakers on the Vizio soundbar in our playroom. The speaker cables are very thin and fit easily into the rail. Thicker wires require a larger size. The pieces are fairly short, so I had to stack them on top of each other to get to the speakers, which are set at 8 feet. The back is attached to the front quite tightly and getting it out is a little tricky. It is easily distorted or "stretched". plastic when you pry them apart by inserting something like a screwdriver. I've found that it's easier to separate them if you grab the end of the strap with pliers and slide it up or down while it's still attached. As the stress on the track pieces will be very light I chose to just use some glue on the back of each end so they can be easily removed from the wall, hopefully without damaging the paint one day. Couplers are included in the kit but after installing all the rails the joints were very difficult to see so I decided to not to use them. Unless you're standing very close, the crossroads are almost invisible. I chose gray as our walls are painted light grey. The markings are darker but I think they look better than the white ones.
