This Coreal underwear from China has an allergenic odour. Upon unpacking, I got a reaction in my sinuses and lungs as I pinched my nose and took a deep breath. At first I just washed them in cold water with All Free and Clear Liquid with Odor Relief. The initial cold water soak turned the water brownish gray. The smell is still there, although not as pronounced. But my intended use is pajamas, and they don't go to my dresser, they go back to the wash to see if the extra washes can get the allergenic stink out. I have a variety of laundry fragrance additives due to a forgotten mold accident. But I shouldn't try to make them portable, they should be delivered that way. Shirt collar too open. It's more like a women's t-shirt. On my white men's t-shirts, the shoulder seam from the top of the sleeve to the collar is 6 1/2 inches and the collar is 7/8 inches. My duofold cotton thermal tops have a 5" shoulder seam and a 3/4" collar. They have a 4 ¼" shoulder seam and a ½" collar. Thus, Duofold thermal underwear is more open than a heavy cotton T-shirt. But the shirt in this set is too open. I feel like I'm wearing women's clothing and it doesn't work for me, not even underwear/pyjamas. One of the reasons I have nothing with this collar is Revain's return policy. It's a good idea to take one size up. For me, at 5'8" and 190 pounds, this is Large to XL. They're made simple: the wrist and ankles are hemmed rather than attached to an elastic; the waist is an elastic band, locked in a gather at the hem, rather than a sewn-on elastic. The allergenic odor and the overly open collar are key issues for me. I suspect the manufacturing processes that leave a toxic odor in the fabric are an attempt to save money. But they don't save money by doing it can't sell.
