I'm using this as a secondary Arduino Uno, no software difference as far as I can tell. The reset button is in a good place and all the pins that use PWM are well labeled. Take a picture before placing the screen on top as the markings are not printed on the back of the board for reference. The mini USB is great because it doesn't interfere with the shielding like a full size USB on a standard Arduino. Additionally, Mini-USB is much stronger and stronger (four SMD solder pads hold the case in place) than the fragile Micro-USB used on other boards. Small SMD chips give it a nice modern look. I think we have a winner. Oh, and it's red, which is pretty cool.
