I'm a home brewer and have used this in my Keezer (a chest freezer converted into a fridge to store 5 gallon Cornelius kegs and cool) to contain moisture. I have previously used an Eva-Dry 500 desiccant for this purpose but it wasn't working properly for several reasons which this particular desiccant solved: Go green so the manufacturer claims 2-3 weeks is true. uncomfortable to connect, like Eva-Dry); it dried in just an hour, which is why the manufacturers again state that 1-2 hours for drying is true. Eva-Dry, which has only two sides and far fewer holes; This shape allows you to place it anywhere and in any position and work efficiently. Overall this dehumidifier has a great design and performs as advertised and even better than its well known competitor brand. I am very happy with this dehumidifier for my purposes and am planning to buy a second one without a base for other uses. Based on my experience, I can recommend it unreservedly.
