I've been looking for a hands-free solution for a long time, mainly for hiking and climbing. This is without a doubt the best solution I've found. Slightly more expensive but stays put, out of the way and feels very solid and well made from the first few uses. If you plan on using it for longer adventures, note that it sits (obviously) on one shoulder, which can make the trap a bit cramped. I usually carry a Nikon D7100 DSLR with a heavy ultra wide angle lens. While a full harness is probably the best option, its packability and breathability in warm weather were the key features that made me go for the sling. Fits under a 30 lb backpack very easily. I've ridden it up to 15 miles and again I was expecting a muscle strain from the weight but it does exactly what it's supposed to.
