I have an indoor/outdoor cat that has been a lifesaver of sorts. I placed this in an upside down plastic container and cut a hole for easy access. This is the perfect solution for keeping any pet warm and toasty, even in sub-zero temperatures, as long as you properly insulate everything you use, towels and rugs in my case. Very reliable. Almost imperceptible power consumption and accurate temperature, especially for cats. I couldn't be happier with the product!
