There are various items that you can order when you place your order. Make sure you select the get kit option and you will get the kit. Aida and 3 needles which is nice. The thread brand appears to be Bestex which I have not used before and my biggest complaint is that it feels a little flimsy. I think if I had enough yarn I would knit this in 3 yarns instead of 2, but it looks like there is enough yarn in the kit to work with 2 yarns. The pattern itself is really pretty, it's big and simple. legible and available in 4 different formats so no matter how you like your charts you have options.
