My wife's check engine light came on and we checked the code on it. Apparently the sensor is connected to the gas cap. Everything is fine with the tank cap, but the check does not go out. I bought it to replace it in the hope that it will fix the problem. I disconnected her battery to reset the check engine light. We've had it for about a week and the check engine light didn't come on. It fitted a little tighter than the original but has been a good replacement so far.
