When it works, it works great. However, the food sensor failed on the first use. It was way higher than it should have been after a few hours of smoking. I thought I screwed up the pork shank, but turns out the probe just went offline. I put it in a pot of simmering water to try it out and yes it went a long way. The grill sensor worked, from the 3rd time I used it started reading LLL which according to the instructions means the sensor is defective. Well. I'm going to buy some new probes and hopefully the first two were just a fluke.
